We just opened our store this last Saturday and we couldn’t be happier. We are looking forward to sharing this location with all of you and wanted to take a minute to talk about why it is such a primo location. Ramona its self is the gate way to adventure for many San Diegans and SoCal residents being located in the heart of San Diego County. For many Ramona is an easy town to pass through on their wat to Julian, Mt Laguna, Warner Spring, Anzo Borrego and many other local outdoor attractions. What they might not know if Ramona is one of the last major stops with super markets, a choice of gas stations and now… US!
Our Store is located at 780 Main Street Suite D and it is a great spot when you consider this, we are on the right side of the road so when you are headed out on an adventure it is easy to pull off and say hi. Right next to us is a Mobile gas station to fill up at and speaking of filling up we have a great Mexican Restaurant next door (El Michoacan) and one of our favorite breweries, Smoking Cannon, so basically everything you need for launching you adventure weekend.
Or on your way back down the hill stop by grab some breakfast from some of our great local dinners and tell us how your weekend went and share up some pics of you “Getting the Fox Out There”. We know Main Street can look a little tight for parking but more good news, we have a lot behind us off of 8thstreet for customer parking so you grab that burrito, beer and gear then hang around for a while. The off street parking makes all of the difference in the world trust us.
So now that we have enticed you up here and got you parked and fed what can you expect from the store? Well good news we are still an online company as well so what that means is you can still order from the comfort of your home what this also means is if we have it on line we have it in the store so you can check what we have online before you even come up. You can even let us know in the notes you are picking it up in the store if you want. You might have seen us at the local shows and that was just a sampling of what we have so now you can come up and see everything and we will be adding more gear every week. You also don’t have to worry about us tearing down the shop on Sunday either we are here for a while, ha-ha.
We look forward to adding some basic lecture based classes using our class room in the very near future as well. It is our goal to provide excellent instruction on the gear we sell as well as the concepts surrounding them. Why, because we want informed, happy safe customers. Personally that is one of the things I am really looking forward too.
Our current hours are Thursday and Friday 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Saturday 8:00am to 8:00 pm and Sunday 9:00am to 4:00 pm. We hope that these hours will better allow for you to stop by say high and maybe grab that last minute piece of gear on you way out to adventure in San Diego County. But please feel free to give us a call if you are ever running a few minutes behind.
