Last Saturday we celebrated Our Grand Opening and our first month here in Ramona. It was a great day filled with old and new friends and we all had a great afternoon hanging out. I tell you it looked like one of those extreme makeover shows the week before getting last minute things and decor squared away.
We stayed super busy and really wanted to again thank everyone for showing up and their patience with the crowd (a good problem to have a as a small business). We are constantly growing and evolving our line of gear so we were really happy to debut the Maps (A full selection of local and southern California maps reaching all the way up to the eastern sierras), our lineup of first aid kits from Adventure Medical (kits for hikers, sportsmen and your dog) where some of the major new items plus a bunch of other fun stuff you will have to come up or go online to check out.
One of the fun parts was seeing all of the well-dressed folks showing up in KFO gear or leaving in in it, we just got a shipment of out hats back in as well as our new shirts! So it was a very stylish bunch. While it was a very busy weekend in Ramona between bike rides, BBQ’s and the Ramona Rodeo we were happy to see so many take time out of their day to come say hi. And we hope they were glad to show up too since everyone got a new KFO California Sticker and a raffle ticket…
The Raffle was a lot of fun with a great line up of prizes form us and Smoking Cannon Brewery. We had a Katara from Vanquest tough Built Gear, A Snubby Kit Bag from Hill People Gear, Spool Tool and Fish and Fire Cord from Tricorne, A Yukon Outfitters Hammock and of course a Growler and Taster Flight from Smoking Cannon. So it was well worth showing up and winning some gear. Also a big thank you to Smoking Cannon not only for the great raffle prizes but the drink specials for our customers was greatly appreciated!
